When setting up your home office, the first thing to do is find some dedicated space. That way, you can work without distraction, and close the door at the end of the working day.

Look for space in a spare room, attic, under the stairs, or in the garden, and claim it as your own.

You’ll work much better if you have dedicated office space and family and friends will know that when you’re in that space, you’re working.

It’s also nice to have some separation so you can ‘leave’ work at the end of the day and comfortably move back into your home life
