Location - Dominican Republic and Samana Bay

Samana Bay is a world famous sanctuary for the Humpback whales. During December to March, they come to mate and give birth to their young ones. Samana offers great diversity. The Development - Villa del Mar
Within this planned Spanish-Caribbean style community, you can indulge in fine dining, stay fit at the world class fitness centre, party at the beach club, catch the sun at the seaside or sail and fish in the waters of Samana Bay, which is protected from the Atlantic Ocean. On the opposite side of the bay is a national park. The Villa Del Mar development is 1700 metres deep with a beachfront width of 225 metres. It is located only 15km from Samana (the second largest port on the island).
Guaranteed rental income
Once the villa is built there will be a 10% guaranteed rental income for two years**. After this it will be a 50/50 split with the management company.
Mortgages
Mortgages are available for 90% of the villa price. Interest rate is currently from 5.5% through the First Caribbean Bank (part of Barclays). The 5.5% to 7.75% (depending on credit standing) is an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) with a minimum of one year and a maximum of seven years. Mortgages are subject to status.
Hotel Occupancy
Currently over 560 hotel projects and 65,000 rooms have been developed in the Dominican Republic. In 2006 tourism reported $4,125,700,000 in revenue. The reason for all the hotel development in the Dominican Republic is because of the year round hotel occupancy rate of 73.9%.
